Vertical line after new FX5200 128 install ?

I just installed a Prolink FX5200 128 video card on a shuttle an35n 400 system . I am getting a thin vertical line about 1" from the left side of the screen . Is this problem with the card ( defect) , bad monitor pixels, or what ? I would appreciate some help . Thanks
