I was attempting to open my 2nd Vertex Plus R2 120GB SSD, which is in plastic packaging. I tried cutting it open with a utility knife, but that was difficult. I managed to get one side open, and I couldn't quite get the drive out, so I proceeded to try to rip one more side open, and when I did, the drive went flying out of the packaging, onto the hard floor.
On the back of the drive, it has a sticker, and one of the things on the sticker, says "do not drop".
I thought SSDs could handle 1500Gs, in the specs at Newegg for most of them.
Do you think that the drive is alright? Or should I RMA it?
Edit: It detected in my Rosewill Blackhawk HDD dock, so I guess it's OK?
