yes those are strong numbers for that size drive and benchmark. Be aware of the 20 gigs written per test though and avoid the default 5 x 1000MB test runs. 1 to 3 x 100MB would be better at reducing all that random data being written to various free blocks.
And just an FYI here for ya. If you hit these drives with too much incompressible random data?(like AS SSD and CDM3).. they can eat up all sorts of partial blocks leading to slight throttling and the need for idle time recovery. Logoff idling with temp disabled sleeps are best as they allow constant power to the drive and low activity for garbage collection to be most efficient. Many also don't know that these drives can do internal block consolidation to free up even more blocks during recovery as well. Kind of like an internal defrag, so to speak.
TRIM will only get you so far and Garbage Collection is king with a Sandforce. Many other controllers for that matter as well since GC has become very good even on non-trim compliant external cards, some older chipsets, and all raided array's.
