Versus

Curious if anyone has ever seen the Japanese action flick "Versus."

There's really no plot to speak of, other than some d00dz get reincarnated and have to fight each other throughout time or some sh!t (and the twist ending sucked), but it does have some really cool fight scenes. Actually now that I think of it, the fight coreography was the only thing worth watching the movie for.

There are too many characters, but every single one manages to be different enough to be justified I suppose. The only thing each character really brings into the movie is their completely fvcked up personality. Which is usually pretty FVCKED UP.

I will say though, that a Katana with a laser sight is wicked badass.

Btw, this movie contains zombies, gangsters, samurai, guns, swords and blood. Weee!

If u wanna see other good jap movie, get Ichi The Killer and Dead or Alive( the first one ..part 2 n 3 sucked! )

Isn't Ichi the Killer done by the same guy that did Versus? Wouldn't mind seeing it as my tolerance for inane Japanese [insert anything] is fairly high, as long as there's blood or explosions to hold my attention.

Great movie, it's like Evil Dead meets Highlander.

BTW, Ichi was a different director, Takashi Mîke, who also made Audition.
