Verizon Wireless question

Hi, I recently moved away to college and I had Verizon in Southern NJ. Now I have moved to Morgantown, West Virginia and I would like to let the company know this so I don't get roaming charges on it.. I know theres a programming command for it but I'm sure sure what it is..

Thanks in advance..

i forgot the code to reprogram, but i dont believe it will tell verizon ur new area, u should call them to change ur local area so u dont roam. If ur on a national plan and on the verizon network (not an affiliate) u shouldnt have any roaming.

Depending on your plan, you won't even need to. Like DarkManX said, if it's national, you will not get roaming. If it's not, you have to call them up and do it.

why do you still have roaming?

I just recently moved from NY to IL without changing my number and in the last couple of bills that I received, I haven't received any roaming charges. I assume that you're looking for the number to update the "Preferred Roaming List" on your phone. Call *228 to do that.
