Like the title says, Galaxy Nexus user looking to upgrade.
To be honest, if it wasn't for poor reception, I wouldn't be upgrading. Just wandering to the back of Costco in the Omaha area and my phone loses signal, while my wife's Droid Razr Max is pretty much fine. The comment always gets made that she should have brought her phone in so we can check a price or whatever, and with mine I have to go to the front of the store to get a bar to be able to do anything.
So that being said, I haven't seen any negative marks on the S4 with regard to poor reception. I am strongly considering ordering it through Amazon to save a $100 on Verizon's retail price of $250. Also giving some consideration to the Galaxy Note 2, as I have larger hands and sometimes the nexus feels a little small.
Is there anything else I should consider? The reception part is what I mainly want to get cleared up. I am simply hoping that the newer versions of Samsung phones don't have this problem. I don't really feel Motorola products myself, so I probably would prefer Samsung or similar. Would consider an Iphone, but I really am a google guy, and have nothing Apple at the moment. Any thoughts? Anything I should wait for?
