I have an LG VX8550 (AKA LG Chocolate) on Verizon's network, and I want to get some MP3 ringtones. I got the phone mid-August and at that point, I successfully e-mailed myself some songs to <mynumber>@vzwpix and I could save the ringtones onto my phone. However, I'm trying to get some more, but for some reason, my phone isn't receiving the messages from my email anymore. I tried sending it through Verizon's online pix message service, but that turned out really bad (the quality of the song was absolutely HORRENDOUS... I could barely recognize the song).
Did Verizon somehow shut down emailing MP3s to phones? I have some microSD cards, but I haven't found a way to put songs from a microSD onto the phone as a ringtone. Is my only option to buy a data cable and use something like BitPim?
