Verizon releases S4 OTA, could AWS LTE be far behind?

Seriously, it can't happen soon enough. Midtown during the day is a nightmare.

Verizon promised AWS by the end of the year. Signals have been detected in NYC, though not "officially".

MI1 on Kies today. Obviously don't update if you need root or a custom ROM. There's already a separate flashable modem up, but I'm not sure whether it's both LTE and 3G or just one.

Sweet, I have a Lumia 928 which is capable, though I don't know if it will need "enabling" (or if the GDR2/Amber update would have included that).

Anyway to know if you are getting it? Super duper high speeds?

The Engadget article says Verizon has officially launched in a few major markets but they're being mum about which ones exactly. It could be that they're just going to randomly deploy towers throughout the area at areas they think are too heavily congested.
