Moto Q vs Palm 700w vs Razr

Money is not a major concern. Mainly, I want a phone that can keep track of appointments, has good reception, and call quality. It will be used 80% as a phone and 20% as an organizer.

Which of these would be best? Should I consider the e815? Or wait for a new model?

moto q for checking mail and for flashy crap

palm 700p to get stuff done

razr for ...um...calling?

seriosuly, I was thinking of gettign a palm treo, but I pre-regretted spending so much on a non-laptop so I'll probasbly get the Q + a EVDO-integrated laptop or jsut hte laptop

i just bought the Moto Q myself, online. i should get it in the next couple of days. i'm hoping it will replace both my Razr and my Audiovox 6600 (PDA phone).

700W is ok, but i think you will find that any of the PDA phones will be a bit inadequate as a phone.

my main problem is work...I havea tough job and don;t want to damage the Q but need to check and send emails too

we shall see what I get

then get one of those yellow nextel phones, they seem to last forever.

the razr will be no tougher than a Razr.

I wanted a smartphoen though

so far my nokia 6150i is holding up, but it is getting old and the keypad is getting sticky....the keys have too much dirt under them ....🙁

lol...there is even one of my german shephers dog hairs inside the screen...lol

MotoQ, but not yet.

First revisions from Motorola are notoriously buggy (not always, but it's become pretty consistent).

I just bought an 8700c to replace my 7230, and I'm still carrying around my Razr, but I intend to get a MotoQ when it hits Cingular, and then only carry that.

If a qwerty keypad is not a must and you can wait and you want to switch to Cingular, you could get the Cingular-branded QTek 8500 Windows Mobile flip phone. It looks a lot better in black, really, but that video is a good indicator of its size.

I know, lots of if's, but it's a really cool phone and kind of a combination of all the phones you are considering now.

Since money is not a major concern, I would get the Moto Q, it's a good phone and cell phone quality just depends on the network and where you are at in the network. Since you would be using it at a phone most of the time, my advice would be to stay away from QWERTY phones, since it just gets in the way, in size, when taking calls. The E815 is still a good phone, especially if you have a mac since it does connect to macs. Are you looking for any other features you want?

have you checked out the vx9800 from verizon?

i just got one...well actually 2 one for the wife as well and and im liking it a lot..

QFT. The Palm is all around faster and it's screen resolution is 320x320 instead of 240x240. The screen on the 700w is crap for some odd reason. I love my 700p though!

The VX9800 would probably be a good phone for you, but the problem with it, I have this phone, is that it does not sync with anything.
