I saw that straight talk could provide service for half the price. I went to the website and entered my IMEI number and zip code and the site says "Good News, your phone is compatible with straight talk to buy an activation kit if you want to switch. So I run to Walmart and buy the kit for $65. I open it up and try to register my cdma byop and it says coverage is not available in my area. I chat with support and they tell me iphone 5S is not supported. I point out that the website told me I was good to go and that they sell iPhone 5S phone on their website. Customer service says the phone is compatible but not eligible. How the hell would I know that. Your site said go buy a kit. Now Walmart won't take it back and straight talk won't refund me. I'm out $65 with a kit I can't use.
Anyone know if this is just a case of the support guys not knowing what's up? What can I do here?
