Verizon Galaxy Nexus: No Network Available?

Hey everyone,

So I wanted to go back to stock Android with the latest toro rom - mostly because I had to unroot the phone for other purposes.

Well, it went well overall - everything went according to plan, and I followed these instructions perfectly: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1626895

Welp, apparently something didn't go well - because while it boots and everything runs just fine, it doesn't connect to Verizon anymore. I don't know how to set it up. All I know is that when I have absolutely no connection to Verizon, thus no phone calls, text, etc... even though I have it paid etc..

I've tried:
1) Reseating the SIM Card
2) Restarting multiple times
3) Flipping on/off airplane mode and data enabled.

Nothing seems to work. I plan on taking it into Verizon I suppose, but I figured I would ask: Does anyone know what the hell I did wrong?

Anyone? Freakin' crying over here!

Went to Verizon and they basically said I bricked my phone and telling me I need to replace it from Samsung.... Except... everything fuckin' works... except the connection to Verizon. Go figure.

Did you try redoing the whole process? Sounds like a radio thing, but I have no experience with this stuff for a couple of years. If it's working (outside of the cell radio) at least you should be able to fix it.

Well, hopefully.

Flash the current (and appropriate) radio, see if you're still unable to connect.

Flash the current (and appropriate) radio, see if you're still unable to connect.

I flashed both radios, according to the guide I linked which includes Verizon ones:
7) Optional (NOT optional for n00bs) -- Flash the radio: fastboot flash radio radio-maguro-i9250xxla02.img (or whatever the name is of the radio image that you downloaded).
8) Reboot (not required if you did not do step 7): fastboot reboot-bootloader
8a) Verizon and Sprint devices only -- flash the LTE radio: fastboot flash radio-cdma radio-cdma-toro-i515.ek05.img (or whatever the name is of the radio image that you downloaded).
8b) Verizon and Sprint devices only -- reboot: fastboot reboot-bootloader

If those weren't the correct one's please feel free to point to anything otherwise... /shrug.

I fucking love you. I will have give you my finest hookers and blow. :awe:

Seriously, I don't know what the fuck happened. I don't understand - my only guess is that the guide I linked in the original post is outdated or something. Because I made triple sure it had the verizon specific radio's to flash, which was done. I guess something was missing - but that toolkit seemed to fulfill it! Thanks for your help man! <3

If it were GSM I would say try different network's SIM. No idea how Verizon's network works.

Does it see any mobile network at all? In other words, do you see the signal bars? Regardless of the color/letter they're supposed to be.

I tried reloading the stock ROM with the Toolkit Joe1987 mentioned above. Worked like a charm! Mind you, this is after taking it to a verizon store and them being dumbfounded (of course). The woman said "I've never seen this, it's like a bricked phone that still works" :awe:
