Verizon FIOS TV Needs Converter Box?

Does anyone know if you need a digital converter box for FIOS TV?

My GF's house is eligible for it, and I'm trying to convince her to get it. However, that house has three TVs with TW cable, but only one digital box for digital cable; the other two run analog/coxial, and they are happy with it.

I'll have a better shot at convincing her to get it if the other two TVs can still get the same or similar amount of channels without a digital box. One digital box payment they can handle; I'm not sure about more.
