Just had it installed. Took them about 2 hours from start to finish. Went with the 15 Mbps/2 Mbps package with unlimited nation wide phone service. $89.98 mth with first month free.

I noticed last year Verizon was installing the fiber optic cable in my neighborhood ... and waited a couple months to see if I could get FiOS. Checked their web site and it said it wasn't available.
Kept checking here and there over this last year and their web site still said it wasn't . Signed up to be notified by email as well but nothing. So last week I just called them. Sure enough it was and scheduled for today.
So if you've seen Verizon lay the cable in your area just call and check.
