"Pure Uncompressed High Definition" "Best high-definition picture possible"

ORLY? I'd like to know how they're pumping 20-40 uncompressed HD channels through that connection, that would be like what, 200 Mbps per channel?

I can get a better high-def picture, it's called using my antenna and pulling it right in from the station.

Fuckers keep advertising for that shit here, and it's only available in two or three neighborhoods, WEAK.

A lot of CATV providers use switching technology on their end to only provide the video/audio signal that your cable box is requesting. They're not pushing everything through at once.

Yeah, it is not completely uncompressed, I think their official claim is that they don't compress it any further than they receive it like some cable/satellite providers do.

From my experience, the compression on HD Cable is horrible.

But it's the best I can get for the money where I'm at :(
