Shizzle.
Verizons problem isnt their phone selection, its what they do to the phones they have.
I'm leaving them this month. Will go with a Tracfone for a bit until something comes along at T-mobile that interests me. They might not have the best coverage, but they charge reasonable prices and dont punish their own customers.
And in my area the coverage is fine anyway.

Will the iPhone come to Verizon? Short term, no. Long term, possibly. People forget that Verizon is upgrading their systems to LTE later on which would presumably (big assumption) use SIM cards. It is also not out of the question for Apple to release the iPhone for multiple carriers (ATT & T-Mobile) as they've done in Canada.

I agree. But in that case (ATT/T-Mobile) theyre both GSM, so its not aq big trouble. Going to Verizon will require a complete remanufacture on Apples part for CDMA.

LTE is 4G GSM.

BlackBerry Bold 9700 will be THE phone to have on T-Mobile when it comes out next month. I'm a VZW employee/BlackBerry nut, and the Bold 9700 is one damn nice phone. I wish we were getting it so badly, but the Tour with the OS 5.0 is great. Before I was a VZW employee, I used an unlocked Bold on T-Mobile, and I loved that phone so much. But the improvements in 5.0 make on my Tour as snappy and useful as my Bold was. It was hard going from a Bold to a Tour, but again, 5.0 made all the difference.
If you're a BlackBerry guy, the Bold 9700 is shaping up to be the best BlackBerry on the market.

I'd rather Verizon focus on launching their Android phones rather than waste any time getting the iPhone. Its overpriced and I don't fancy surrendering all control to Apple.

I wish Apple would made a deal with Tmobile instead of FVZW. If Apple made a deal with VZW I am leaving iPhone.

Any particular reason why? If it stays as the same phone, just on a new network, I fail to see the downside.
