Verizon DSL == teh suk? I think not...

Just got off the phone with them... OH HAPPY DAY! My DSL is back on.

Of course I did have to call to make it happen. But, I got it back on.

AND...

The gentleman I ended up speaking with in billing happened to have given me 1 month free DSL service AND 1 month free dial-up service (which we were using while DSL was out) for my inconvenience - even though my original outtage was billing related and my fault.

SCORE!

Verizon DSL === teh suk Yes!

When my DSL went down for 6 weeks they refused told me they couldn't find a problem with my line. They even closed the ticket on me. It would take me HOURS to get to CSR. I would call, go out have dinner, see a movie and my line would still be on hold (I actually did this). Mysteriously, one day my line worked. I called them and they were gracious enough to not charge me for my loss. Big whoop, what about crediting me for inconveniencing me? Nope.

My line would go down at least once a week for hours. Usually when I needed to use it. So yes, Verizon DSL was teh suk for me.
