So I was reading the earlier post on this subject, and I realized that Verizon recently raised the prices of incoming text messages from 2 cents to 10 cents. So like before if you want to cancel your contract and avoid the early termination fee, you can use this as your reason instead of waiting for October 1st for Verizon to administer their new fee. For those that didn't read the post before it basically stated that if Verizon changes their prices you have 60 days to cancel your service and avoid the fee. They changed it on my plan as of August 1st, but you may want to call in and find out for yourselves.
EDIT: This is legit, I called them last night I called them and got it taken care of. I didn't cancel my contract, but since I am going to port my number she made a note of this in my file just in case they charge me the 175. Is it me or has Verizon service deteriorated in the past year?
EDIT 2: Wow.... ok, 1. I am Indian, so I don't know what all this racist black talk is about, I just never changed the guy.. and 2. How is it spam if I didn't put any links or anything? Try it if you can, it worked for me it just depends on who you talked to. And worse comes to worse, if they say no just wait until Oct. 1 when they start charging everyone that 40 cent administration fee.
