Verizon Blows

I woke up this morning to my work calling me. I missed the call, went to call them back and service has been deactivated due to owing 220 some odd dollars. Greeeat. I call Verizon and say, look I'll mail you a check just give it like 6 days to get there and turn my service back on. Noooooooooooope. I don't even pay this bill, my father does. He's forgetful sometimes, and paranoid... he hates credit cards and banks. So my only option is to pay 93 bucks myself and get the service turned back on, and hope my father pays me back because I need the money for my car insurance bill. THEY JUST RECIEVED A PAYMENT FOR LIKE 200 6 days ago.

Plus, I'm going up to Rutgers tonight to visit some comrads, and only one or two people know I'm coming to visit. Greaat, I have no phone to call anyone with.

AAAAND, I lost my phone like 3 weeks ago. Called insurance, paid 50 bucks and they sent a new one. Cool, except the battery dies whenever it's not plugged in. It literally lasts 5 minutes. I e-mail Verizon technical support and they say bring the phone in and we'll replace the battery. Okay, I rush to Verizon after work and they say I need to call Verizons insurance company. FVCK OFF.

I'm printing that e-mail out tonight and bringing it in and telling them to replace my battery. FVCK THEM.

You owe them money and are pissed that they refused to allow you to use their service until you paid up.

Man, you've got them by the balls, I'd go to the press.

Fvcking Verizon charges more then god.

No, what really pisses me off is that they received a payment literally 6 days ago, and it wasnt a 20 dollar payment. It was for 200. They've never had a late or missed payment. Yes, they may have had a lessthenwasdue payment. But we always pay on time and stuff. They shouldn't shut my service off when a payment was made 6 fvcking days ago.

Plus, that motherfvcker at online tech support told me to bring my phone in and they'd replace the battery. Verizon is fvcking with me man.

No. I called them for support and they're like "you have a 200 past due balance." I was like okay, and pops sent them a check. What they failed to tell me is that the money was PAST DUE. 6 days after we paid that they said 93.something was past due. They just suck man.

My father said that he'd pay my phone bill while I was in college. I've had a job since I was 14 years old. I pay rent, insurance, food... everything else. I'm not sure if I could handle the insane amounts verizon charges. I'm a poor 20 year old college student. I work fulltime.

Stop smoking crack.

WTF is your phone bill at $400+ anyway? Do you have one of those 'cheap plans' for 400 or 500 minutes a month when you really use it for 1000+ minutes a month?

No this isn't a parody. I'm really pissed off right now. We have a share plan on 900 minutes. We only use about 300 minutes of that. I offered to try to help my father with the bill as much as I could, and he declined since he said he would take care of it. Verizon charges us about 120 a month, and after looking at the newer plans, I think we're getting ripped off.

My father has severe economic difficulties in July... when this all started.

I have Verizon hard wired,
I pay about $25 a month for local only service,
for long distance I use a Sprint phone card.

I agree Verizon sux.

  • You owe Verizon the money
  • Daddy pays for it
  • You don't want to spend your own money
  • You lost your phone

    ...yet "Verizon Blows"...
