Verizon and roaming.

When I signed up two years ago, I could have sworn the guy at the store told me I would not have any roaming charges.. it's all included.

FF to today, and I got my new phone, the TM510 kept turning itself off... and since I've been happy w/ verizon, kept going with it, and my friends have it, so in network is nice. But, while going through the papers, I notice America's Choice DOES have roaming fees.

When I go home, I need to dig up some paper work to see if it mentions anything about roaming. But wondering what other verizon folk have to say about this. I really haven't ever hit roaming, but still.... makes the cingular/att service look very attractive now.

Yes AC does have roaming fees in certain parts of the country. Verizon's National SingleRate has no roaming anywhere..
 
yeah, i know that now. I believe I was misinformed though when I first got my phone. My friend also believes he has free roaming as well. Living in the DC metro area... you never really get a chance to USE roaming.... I suppose it's a plus, but I feel lied to.
