I'm grandfathered in on Unlimited as long as I don't allow them to switch for the new plans. I have no reason to change with what I'm paying now....but if they tempt me, I'll leave them for a cheaper plan somewhere else at the drop of a hat. I can see they're searching for revenue pretty hard these days.

i still have my 15% government discount on verizon, and i'm on a shared plan w/my wife and we both have iphones with unlimited data and share 700 minutes and unlimited texts.

and $20 for 300mb is fine for people w/very minimal useage. if i didn't use pandora or di.fm, i'd use pretty much well under 300mb/month on my phone.
Hmm I'm still getting 18% off my line and my data on our family plan since the switch.

That's because both of you renewed(or signed a new) contract prior to 7/7.
Anyone renewing or signing a new contract after 7/7 won't be eligible for corporate discounts on data unless they signup to a data package of $50 or more.
