Walked in, said it was broken ,they took a look, said come back in 45, came back, gave me new phone, had me sign some communist manifesto, and I was off wit ha new phone:confused:

That was too easy:confused:

Usually they make a big deal and such (only returned one phone before, like 3 yrs ago) and want me to upgrade or whatever...nothing this time:confused:

Oh, and this all started today when I was on the can at school reading slashdot, read something hilarious, dropped said phone, which landed in a pool of urine.

Well I managed to clean it alight...too clean if you know what I mean....

Good times....

When you say "pool of urine," do you mean to say you dropped it in the toilet bowl? Or was said "pool of urine" on the floor? (I won't ask how it got there)

better watch out when they open it and see those stickers that change color when they absorb moisture, they'll know its water damage and charge you.

that communist manifesto probalby had something to this effect. I know on cingular phones there is one inside the battery compartment and one inside the casing itself that you can't see.

damnnit....it's always the manifesto that gets you in the end:|

I know the insurance allows it (left it in a wachining machine once and they read off all the possibilities, and both were on there...

A lot of phones have a small circle inside the battery case that turns color if it's exposed to water so they can tell if this happens. You can put a tiny bit of crazy glue or something else solid, permanent and clear over it to prevent that small area from getting wet.

I know a lot of people bitch about Verizon but I have never had any issues with them really.

Sure it takes forever usually when you go into a store to do anything but I've had nearly every single provider out there and they are by no means the worst.

It wasn't that wet....just got some soap through the buttons.

I scrubbed it with my hand an a towel...no dunking or anything.
