just got done building my first computer, had a little trouble with the circuits but other than that went smooth. I started to install windows, and it said hit any key to continue. SO i went to hit the any key and found out my keyboard wasnt hooked up. I plugged it in, pressed the any key again, nothing happened, so i restarted my computer. Then, when it restarts it does the memory test thing then goes to a "verifying dmi data pool" message and freezes. I read that formatting your hard drive helps some time, but im not sure how to do it. another person said try to reinstall windows, but i cant see how to install it when im stuck on that screen. If anyone has any ideas or info on this annoying message please help me out!

Verifying DMI Data pool is still a bios screen, it hasnt even attempted to read the hard drive yet.

You may have the keyboard plugged into the mouse port, that often causes a freeze at the stage you are describing.
