verify .iso file

i just downloaded linux, and burned it, but during installatioon i got a few crc errors. is there a way to check that the iso is good, and the burning was bad/

Downloaded Linus, huh? 🙂

Use WinImage to extract files from the ISO without even burning them. It will also tell you if there are any CRC errors.. I think it's WinImage.com.

You can use Fireburner's verify integrity feature, or use a hash calculator to get the MD5 checksum, and see if it matches the one that is usually in the FTP directory and/or site where you downloaded the ISO file from.
