I got my money on guilty.. anyone else following this case?

Verdict has been read.. he has been found guilty on all three counts, first degree murder, kidnapping and child pornography

well i didnt follow it too closely, but the only thing i heard the defense argue was that the mother got freaky with him on a dance floor...

that doesnt really explain the blood in his trunk

the defense argued that the girl had a bloddy nose that day and the mother kept on the same clothes when she went out. Therefore, the blood got on him while they were dancing.

there was a lot of hair/fiber/blood evidence that the defence claimed got there by transfering from the mother while they were dancing.. they also have no evidence linking the defendent to the scene where the kidnapping took place and where the body was dumped.

The jury was out a long time for it to be a straight forward guilty verdict.
They obviously had some folks who had some doubts about the governments case.
Either way I think if it's guilty the defense has some decent appeal possibilties like not sequestering(sp?) the jury etc....

If I had a bloody nose I couldn't get blood on you dancing with you 4 hours later. Grow brains people. If your sister went missing and I had her blood on my clothes and in my car would you think I got the blood on me and my car by dancing with someone else that she had come in contact with HOURS beforehand. Even if Danielle had a monster bloody event and ran around and bled all over the house her mother wouldn't have had enough on her to transfer to him and his car. Do you honestly think she went dancing covered in blood?

Well the parents of this girl were notorious recreational drug users and swingers, frequently swapping spouses for sexual gratification with...whoever scumbags were just like them. So no I wouldn't put a whole lot beyond the mother...or the father for that matter.

All 3 counts eh, wonder what they were deliberating so long about. I heard it was the kidnapping charge. That one could have gone either way. If that went down he could have technically been innocent of the 1st degree.
