Verbatim make their own drives?

Mine looks like a Lite-On. I'm taking a poke in the dark but the past two rebadged Lite-On drives I've had have a circle on the top of the drive. It pops up a little off the top...maybe that's how you can tell? You should also be able to tell by the model number but I don't know how 😛
