I just went to Office Max to get a 100 cakebox, paid too much (as expected), but didnt realize until I got home that it was MII (made in India). This kind of shocked me since OM was always reliable as MIT (Made in Taiwan), and the label colors looked the same.

So I went to BestBuy and they only had the "vinyl" Verbatim CDR's (one of the dumbest things to do to a perfectly good CD blank)
These turned out to be CMC magnetics, MIT
Then just for good measure I went to Fry's and bought some TDK MIT's
>Also CMC Magnetics

Unfortunately, I cant ask NE to look and ship me only MIT, so I guess I cant risk it.

If someone gets these, be curious as to what they ship.

Don't mean to thread jack, but Staples has the 100 pack of Memorex 52x for 14.99 plus tax.

No rebates or coupons needed.

Hey, the more the merrier
Personally, I have never bought a memorex disk in my life - started with Taiyo Yuden MIJ, then when they dried up went to Verbatims.

Verbatim cds are all I have used for years. Great product.

Not worth doing a $6 rebate? About 10 min to do the rebate - rate = $36/hr for the effort.

I probably do a couple of grand worth of rebates a year. Last year they ranged from $1.98 (Staples) to $125 (Canon). I would have lost a lot without all the little ones for $10 or less.
