Ventrilo problem (administration)

I am currently running a free server of ventrilo for my friends and world of warcraft guildies, I created some channels and set the passwords to each channel. When the server clears out and no one is on it... I will log back in and the channel passwords are all wiped. I am trying to make it so they stick and never get wiped but am not sure about doing that (did not see it in any documentation).
