Ventrilo not working

I have been having lots of issues recently with running any programs downloaded onto vista from either the net or from disk i keep getting "failed to creat directory'c:\users\?adam\appdata\roaming\ventrilo' program not responding" this is what i get on most programs when trying to install them and no one has yet come back to me with solution aprat from reinstall program which i have done please some one help

It may be all of ventrilo is down. It has been for my guild in game for a few days. I could probably Google it but Im too lazy 😛

Its not a Vista issue though. Works fine on my copy.
