Tonight I had a really crappy experience. I was driving and was making a turn into a drive way. Some guy wanted to catch the bus and he bolted right in front of me and I missed him by inches. Damn. it was so freaking scary.

I was on the "other side" just yesterday

I was crossing the street and some chick in a honda turned right into me, only looking the OTHER way to see if cars were coming

I literally had to hop on the hood. She was all freaked out, and i gave her a real pissed off look, and she drove away

But i forgive "your kind"

hehe

It's these kinds of stories that make me a little nervous about starting to drive. Hell, right now I'm focusing on staying between the lines...if it were me i probably would have hit him,

My dad once hit a pedestrian in San Francisco. Cops showed up, taking notes etc, until one of them took a closer look at the guy who was laying on the ground, waiting for the ambulance. "Oh, it's John. Get up John" Nudge nudge with foot. My dad didn't get a ticket. Turns out this homeless guy made a habit of tossing himself in front of cars to get a free meal from the hospital. The cops all knew him.

My roomate is one of these people who's kind of "scatterbrained"

Driving with him is horrible...he'll go right through stop signs sometimes, almost hit people on corners, make wrong turns...cause he kinda zones out

Driving is truly a right, and you have to stay alert

I was heading home from church with my grandmother (no joke) and was turning into my street (the street naturally turns right). So I'm on the inside, and a Ford Explorer rounds the corner too tight. THE DRIVER WASN'T EVEN LOOKING UP, her head was down for some reason. I tried to honk, but I forgot the airbag was there and the horn was to the sides. By the time I hit the horn, she had already cracked a small part of my left blinker. It could have been easily a head on collision and had WAY more damage. There is some paint scrapes and a small part of the wheel well messed up, but not worth fixing.

Sucks because now I have to take MY TIME to get my car fixed! ARGGGHHH. BTW, the lady who hit my lives two doors down from me.

I've hit two pedestrians in my time. Both were their fault. Not much you can do if they jump in front of the car.

Yeah, pedestrians need to be on the look out for cars more so than the other way around. They are the ones that will lose that battle.

I had a similiar incident once where this guy was hitching a ride on back of a UPS truck, all of a sudden hoped off into my lane. Almost sent his @ss flying through the intersection.
