Venice vs San Diego. Can someone explain the difference? Thanks!

Take a look there...

My guess is the San Diego is for the clawhammers and FX chips at 90nm with their 1mb of L2 cache....will inlcude 4200+ and FX57 I believe.

The Venice cores are the winchester 90nm sckts from 3000+ up to 3800+

Thanks! I've been reading some since my post and it looks like the 3800+ will overclock like crazy. What would be a good SLI Mobo to go with this Venice 3800+ if I'm interested in overclocking?

I would look at the DFI boards...They seem to OC better and have better reliability in terms of HTT stability and working PCI locks and dividers...

I would wait and see how the 3500+ and 3200+ do before I woul buy the higer priced 3800+...if you think about OCing...The 3200+ with a 10x multiplier should be the least you should consider. If 3ghz is in range 300HTT is a tough sell on quite a few boards....
