The venice is a overclockers dream, especially DH-E3 steppings :)

Post your overclocking results here along with your system specs. If any one needs help obtaining a certain speed then dont hesitate to ask.

I'm thinking about overclocking my 3500. How do the temps increase while you overclock? Is my motherboard a good overclocker?

Venice 3200+ Week 16 @ 2.55Ghz >38 hours Prime 95 (Priority 10) stable, XP-90 w 92mm Panaflo H1B? (~25idle; ~35load), ~1.38V :p

Lucky for me, I live in Canada, so after running around my city for ~3 hours, I found a week 16 even though it was late July. Haven't really triend pushing it yet though.......been too lazy.....priming takes forever =___=.

I love this chip.

Venice 3200+, my mainboard is bad, only 1 memory devider works properly, others change my mem speed when cool and quite is enabled and crash my comp.
The max stable speed i can get with the mainboard is 250HTT and ram is at ddr416 speeds.

Stock voltage 2.5ghz idle 27*C, load 44*C stock cooling, in summer now with like 30*C room temp the chip does not get hotter than 48*C
This chip is sweet but i have not been able to check the max overclock cause of my mainboard.

I got mine with a frys deal for 210$ with an ecs motherboard. I sold the motherboard so total it cost around 150$ I thought the 3500+ would at least do 2.4-2.5 instead of wondering if a purchased 3000+ would get there or not.

My OC is almost certainly limited by my motherboard that has most OC features but the voltage feature for the memory really sucks. With you're setup you should easily get 2.6. i'm still running AGP! MY temps with my zalman are really good. idle 32-34 and I can't remember my load temps, but i believe they were way under specks and were not an issue.

I screwed up in the poll and put 1.8-1.9Ghz for my Venice 3000+.

I have an E3 stepping Venice and can reach 2.8-2.9 Ghz prime95 stable with a voltage bump on stock cooling. Very sweet CPU.

I just picked one up today.

Didn't play with it much yet, but easily I put the cpu at 241 (2410). I'm sure I can go higher, but its good for now :)

Temps are good even with stock according to EasyTune (28-30c), but I don't know how reliable that is. When I get time I'll stick my p160 sensor closer to the chip.

My E3 Venice 3000+ will only do about 2.6 stable before it starts to conk out and have a fit, regardless of voltage.

Got my 3200 Venice E3 running at 2.5ghz (250x10) while sustaining HT at 1000mhz (250x4) @ 1.475v. My 9800XT is a fkin bottleneck...didnt have enough money at the time to get a x800. However my new viewsonic 19" LCD 3ms is a killer piece of machine. I highly recommend this display!!!!!!!

Venice 3000+ E3 Week 21
BFG Tech NF4 Ultra Bios 7/19/05
2.6Ghz@289FSBX11@1.5V
HT Frequency: 4X
DDR @ 385Mhz. 3:2 CPU/MEM ratio

Stable as hell... Can post at 2.7Ghz, but I don't want to increase more than 1.5V

My week 19 Venice does 2.7 GHz @ 1.6v and runs fairly cool at that speed with my XP-90C (never above 37C on cool days, never above 39C on warmer days)

It's not prime stable mind you but 6+ hours of COD2 stable . . . ;)

Huh? How can you have a multiplier of 11 on a 3000+?

Not possible, but that has to be 9x of course... Make the calculation... I have an E3 Venice 3000+... Currently @ 2.4GHz (8x300) @ 1.44V, but I had it up to 2.7GHz (9x300) @ 1.51V... Never tried pushing it further... I think it might hit over 2.8GHz... Mobo is a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum... HSF an Arctic Cooling Freezer 64... (they're great!)

EDIT: Oh yeah, temps are currently 32°C idle, and 40°C whilst stressing with OCCT... At 2.7GHz the temps were 35°C idle and 43°C under load...

I agree that the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 PRO is great :). I returned the Big Typhoon due to it's size and weight.

Duh..should have done the math.

I just received my week 50 E6 3200+ from Newegg this AM. So far I am running Prime 95 to test stability. It seems I am limited to the speed of my memory (Corsair XMS 3200C2PT). I want to run the PC3200 as close to 200mhz using the dividers as possible. Max stable HT on my Abit AN8 SLI is 283 with HT x4. CPU will easilly hit 275 (did not try higher) during the consolidation phase. Current settings while running Prime 95:

HT x 4
3200+ (260 x 10) @ 1.475V
Mem divider at 333 (effective speed 216mhz)
2.5-3-3-6 @ 1.7V (would not boot @ 2-3-3-6).

Am I better off lowering multiplier to use a higher HT? If anyone else have any suggestion, please chime in. I am a Noob in A64 OC so I still need help :D
