Venice 3200+ VS 3500+

I'm planning on building a new system. Do you guys recommend the 3200+ or the 3500+? The 3200+ costs about 195 while the 3500+ costs about 270. Seems like the 3200+ is more worth it huh? And I should just put the money into buying better RAM?

Please do a search next time; this gets asked almost daily.

If you are OCing, or are willing to learn, the 3200+ is fine.

If you do a little looking around the General Hardware & CPUs forum, you'll find pretty much all the answers you'll be asking about building a new rig

Heck, right now in GH, you can find like 5 threads on complete system recommendations...lots of info here...you just gotta look for it

3000 overclocks as good as 3200.. or even better majority of the time... good money saver... and put that money on memory or gpu if u r a gamer...

Thanks! Do you have a specific memory you'd recommend? I was just gonna go for the corsair value select PC3200.

I'm going with a X800XL already, so I think that should be good enough.
