Yeah saw that..... if they don't deliver I'll dispute them with my cc company. I'll post back if this thing comes in on tue.

bah, monarch says all the venice will be in stock at the end of the week. i can wait. i'd also be surprised monarch gets them later than these guys but maybe its just an inventorying thing.

You mean you actually belive that that place has them in stock!? I bet they'll cancel your order, charge you double and then send it 4 weeks later

This was on Monarch's forums:

"We were a launch partner on the product, and we're an AMD Platinum vendor, so nobody will have this chip before we do."

and

"I would say our top-rated customer service is an excellent reason to go with Monarch, regardless of the price. Still, our prices are typically among the lowest in the industry and we really care about quality.
Why NOT go with Monarch?
Seriously, we're an AMD Platinum system builder. We are very, VERY close with AMD. We get the same access HP does. So, if you have one vendor telling you no problem on the Venice and we're telling you "No, the Venice will be here on xxx date", who do you trust?
Hey, I could easily lie, take a whole BUNCH of preorders for Venice computer systems, motherboard combos, keep the money and cahrge cancellation fees when I can't deliver on all of these orders. I mean, a LOT of vendors do this.
Monarch doesn't though. I'm telling you up front the way it is. I'm sorry if its not the message you wanted to hear, but that is reality for you. Wouldn't you rather do business with someone who is going to be totally honest with you?"

These were posted by Monarch employees. If that's to be believed, these people don't have them in stock and your best bet is to go with Monarch.

Mwave charges restocking fees only if the item is not defective. Defects do not get charged restocking fees. If you are just dissatisfied with a product or change your mind, a 15% restocking fee applies.

Mwave is a lot of times cheaper than newgg too although they can't match the egg for selection.

I already have my order with Monarch. It's no money out of my pocket to gamble on getting this chip a little earlier though. I am getting married next month, taking my final board test to become a doctor and moving, so the sooner I get this chip in the sooner I can get this system built and out of the way, lol.

Wow, I have to agree, that looks like one of the lowest ratings I've ever seen. Stay away at all costs. I'm surprised these guys are still in business.

Well, guy finally called today and gave me some schpill of them getting a limited supply and selling out, lol. I cancelled, end of this story.
