Vending machine questions

I've come across an opportunity to set up some vending machines at my place of employment. I've never owned any vending machines before and have very little experience with vending. The logistics of transporting (and/or servicing) the machine seem daunting. I can do the replenisment/collection but not sure how to proceed.

Does anyone have any experience with owning or deploying vending machines (preferably snack machines)? I don't want to lease, but without a truck/lift i may have to.

If you have a Costco close buy they have programs for vending machines that you can look into.
