Vending machine guy came in a threw out some expired chips! WOOHOO!

The vending machine dude came into the office this morning, and after he was done I noticed a few bags of sun-chips and a bag of salt-n-vinegar chips were tossed in a wastebasket. I pulled them out and noticed they expired yesterday! So free chips for me and my office buddies!

Once in my other office, the pop-machine guy left the door of the pop machine open. When you put the money in the machine, it would just fall to the floor, so you couldn't pay for the pop. Needless to say I had a nice caffine high that entire week.

Anyone else have any vending machine incidents?

Dont they pay you enough? do you have to look for food in the trash and steal when no one is looking.

this summer that happened to me at my work. I only used it once, and when i came back it was taking money again

That happened to me on the last day of school this year, except it was an ice cream machine and there was a trash barrel full of orange creamsicles and such, it was great.

Has anyone ever eaten the sandwhiches in those things? I heard about them on Newsradio, but thought it was a running gag, until I came here. The guy is in like once a week to refill it, and even then he doesn't replace the sandwhiches, just restocks them. The sheer logistics of the thing are disgusting.

yea i love it when you can just press a button and the pop comes out without having to put in money. always nice. once when i was little there was a little horsie machine that malfunctioned and gave out free rides. a skeetball game too but the operator got pissy after we won the highest prize in 10 minutes.

This one time, at band camp...

First day, There was a break area, it was break time, and there was 0 food but 1 vending machine that was relatively small.

A pack of hungry teens with no cash circled it for a few moments... alpha teen gets idea, rocks machine, food falls.

Monkey see, Mokey do... other teens from pack also get free food.

Jealousy sets in, wild Food frenzy begins, Machine gets rocked back and forth violently. 10 seconds later, no food left in the machine.

Scary stuff.

Not surprisingly many people are hurt or killed when trapped beneath soda machines while they are shaking them trying for some free stuff. Those machines are much heavier then people realize.

At my old job, we had a machine that if you put the money in, and pressed multiple buttons at the exact same time, you would get that number of sodas for the price of one. You had to be exact though, most I was ever able to get was two.

Once a soda machine ate my 2 $0.25's so I got all mad, and punched the stupid machine, and the lock popped up! I turned it a couple of times, and the front of the machine, popped open, like a big door, and there was all the soda's all stacked up! I just took two, but everyone (it was in high school) raided the machine, and it was empty in minutes...

I thought it was cool...

I saw a machine that if you put in the money and then held the button down you got 4 sodas instead of one. (now if only money would do that, lol)
