anyways great shots! enjoy the cam
Dunno. I just got the thing. I'd love an answer though as I'd like to take more pics and most of the racing is at night under the lights. I've certainly seen better photos taken there, so I'm sure it can be done.

Better photo from a recent race.

So, in other words, you'd like to see a picture of a man in a thong?:Q

F-Stop in SRL cameras refers to the size of the aperture that lets light in. The bigger the hole, the more light, the less time the shutter needs to be open. Also, the bigger the hole, the depth of field (the range at which objects will be focused) will be smaller.

In the third photo, Fausto needed more light so that the shutter speed will be fast enough to minimize blurring. Either a flash, OR larger aperture.

Ack! I am having flashbacks of my lone velodrome experience, where I ended up rolling the front tire of my rented track bike and going over the handlebars and facefirst into the concrete track (at Hellyer Park Velodrome in San Jose) at 40 MPH or so. That was probably my all-time most painful experience.

They have "loaners" you can use, but they prefer that you buy your own bike eventually. The loaners are actually pretty nice aluminum GT track bikes.

I'm looking for a bike to purchase, but there are very few used ones floating around believe it or not.
