Not very. I was trying to go slow enough that the pics would be decent. ;)

can you track stand?
Haven't tried yet. I can do it on a road bike, but I'm still chicken to try it on the banking.

wow thats cool... :D although the thought of a brakeless and fixed gear bike scares me at first... i'm sure it must be fun... :D

btw... i just sold a set of mavic kysriums to someone... he decided to go to their local velodrome... on the way the bike fell off the rack and bent the wheels... :( i feel bad.

Actually the track is kinda sunk into the middle of a hill, so you can hardly even see it from the roads around it. All you see is the fence and the boards around the top of the track, plus they've landscaped everything outside so it's really not ugly at all.

you will find that its easier to do a trackstand on the track than on the road.... except for the steepest part of the banking.... but rarely will someone ever do a trackstand there to get the guy behind you to take the lead....

I hope you had a good time!

Are you really that blurry in real life or was it only for just this special occasion?

Ahhh, well if that's the case, then I suppose I'd be able to live with it, but in this pic it looks like this person looks right out their front window at this thing, hehe.

More like "operator error" since I don't know how to work my new camera yet. :p

Just the name sounds like it's a big fight to the death arena, except with bikes.

Hehe....not quite. There are "rules of the road" so to speak that are in place to prevent carnage.......theoretically. ;)

Why is it, that when I see that I can't help but think that it'd be sweet to put a handful of high end karts on the track and recreate Bristol? :)

got a question, will adjusting the shutter speed (i believe its called the F Stop at least in a 35mm camera) fix the blurriness in the 3rd pic?

anyways great shots! enjoy the cam
