Hi,
I got a couple of Velociraptors to run in raid - 0 stripped array. I had a couple of 74gb raptors originally in raid - 0. Anyhow after restoring the array from within WinXP of another partition of Vista 64 and rebooting into that partition I got a bunch of 'raid access failure' error messages and parity error messages in the system logs. Data corruption eventually happened next. I also bought a couple of Caviar Blacks 1TB and they worked fine in Raid 0 before and after the Velociraptors. I also tested each velociraptor individually and could not detect any faults. Also tried changing the cables - no good...
The Velociraptors are the GLFS type. My motherboard is an Abit IN9-32X 680i motherboard. Wondering what else can I do to get this to work? No room for any expansion cards. I'm at a loss...
Thanks,
Dave.
