Velcro Mesh Tubing - Edited

Recently on a site, I saw some mesh tubing similar to that which comes on Antec and Enermax power supplies, but that has a velcro seam so that it can be simply wrapped around the cables without having to take all the connectors off. However, I am now unable to find the site. If anyone knows of a place that carries this product, I'd be most appreciative for a link.

Edit: Actually, if anyone knows where to get the same stuff that is used on the power supplies mentioned at a sane price, that would be just as good for my needs. ^^

Thanks! 🙂

I have an idea where to find some, gotta look through a few catalogs first, I'll be back shortly with the answer 🙂 I know it has a name, something like "wire snake" or I dunno, its some crafty marketing name like that 😉

Ok, the stuff I was thinking of is called "Snake Skin" and can be found @ www.partsexpress.com . It works kinda like a chinese finger trap, it can be expanded to fit the wires in, and then pulled tight to make it skinnier to neaten stuff up.

Its like $24 for an 8 ft. peice of 1" diameter stuff though 🙁
And would be a PITA to do over stuff like PSU wiring where you have all the connectors on it and in the way.... Velcro sounds like a much better idea 🙂

Jeff

Edit - this would be the stuff you probably find on the Enermax and Antec PSU's 😀

Techflex together with heatshrinks are something else you could use to keep things tidy, and it'll even look pretty good, as if you bought boutique cables 🙂

Thanks for the ideas guys. 🙂

What's this Techflex stuff and where can I see it?

Edit: Nevermind, I found the Techflex website. Exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the help! 😀

I ordered some Techflex tubing from WireCare. Prices seemed pretty decent as long as you dont need kevlar mesh or anything. 😉 Prices were especially good compared to any similar product if purchased from one of the computer mod sites.

Cant wait to get it now! 🙂

Edit: can't type, too much b33r 😛
