No real qualifications, he likes coupes, but insurance isnt the best on them of course... AWD would be my preference, rwd in way last place due to snow and insurance...

Spec B subbies arent in that range yet are they?

what else, i really like subaru as an option, auto or manual, no mods will be done really.. just fun...

Maybe a saab 9-2X Aero? 😀

Insurance on a WRX is f*cking expensive. If you are looking for a car with cheap insurance, you are looking in the wrong place with a WRX.

I own a 2005 WRX with the Prodrive Performance Pack.

When I last renewed my insurance, I was 27 years old with 4 years NCB, no endorsements on my license and no previous claims. I drive roughly 10K per year and my premium was £900 with an excess of £475 (thats in pounds not dollars). Oh and the insurer expected a tracker fitted to the car. Luckily enough I bought it with a Tracker Monitor already fitted. I still have to stump up £140 per year for the subscription though. Without the tracking system, I would pay an extra £500 on the premium (thats if you find and insurer that with insure the car without it fitted).

THe WRX is insurance group 19 and the STI is 20.

It may be different in the US, but I doubt it.
