Vehicle covers....what to look for? Are they all the same?

Went car shopping for the wife yesterday and bought her a Dodge Caliber. Just incase you missed it here is the thread "My wife hit a deere." http://forums.anandtech.com/me...id=38&threadid=2196673

While at the dealership, this Dodge charger kept staring at me. Needles to say, I bought it too:D

Anyhow, I'm thinking about getting a cover for it. The car will be outside for a while. We have to many critters around here that love to get on vehicles. Are all covers the same? Is there something I should look for? And where is the best place to get them from?

Thank you in advance!

Car covers are usually fit, as far as I've seen in the past. There are one size fits all covers, but a cover specific to the car shouldn't be hard to get.

I'm not sure what year you have, but I just googled car cover charger and got a lot of hits. None of them for a charging device for a car cover, either :)

The 2 main things am trying to keep off the car are our cat and our pet turkey.

A car cover or airsoft gun will take care of both.

car covers are not all the same. you need to get a quality cover that will not scratch your paint. we keep our cars indoors and have full flannel lined covers. A good cover will be somewhat expensive. im not sure what works well outside, but as long as it does not hold water and it breaths you should be good.

Agreed: Do not buy a cheap cover. Scratched paint is no fun.
