fresh
but if not fresh, then frozen, except for tomatoes
frozen is often fresher than fresh.
unpossible
Fresh is fresh. If its in the fresh section and it isn't fresh, then its rotten, not fresh. True fresh always > frozen.

So open a bag of frozen, pour out as much as you want, use a twist-tie to close the bag back up, stick it back in the freezer till you need it again...

I eat veggies with every dinner. I can't remember the last time I bought veggies in a can, if ever.
Always frozen or fresh. Frozen is nice because I can use the exact amount I want, and then put the rest back in the freezer.

well no kidding Mr California
but the choice was between canned and frozen.
and btw, why does it cost more to buy California strawberries in the supermarkets in California than what I can get the same California strawberries for in New York? it's puzzling...
right. i was in a supermarket in CA and then back home in NY, and was surprised to note that the fresh fruits & veggies were cheaper here than where they are grown.Originally posted by: zinfamous

probably b/c you were in the supermarkets? a block away, I can buy 5 pounds of pomegranates for $1. The fruit and veggie prices near me are astronomically cheaper than I have seen anywhere else in the country.
