I like canned veggies better, except for corn. I really really love those LeSeur Baby Peas (canned). Frozen peas are not too great IMO.

I think I'm the minority here for it seems most like their veggies frozen (since they taste more like fresh veggies)

EDIT: I'm talking about veggies that you'd eat with dinner, ie. peas, corn, beans, etc. Not tomatoes and such.

I agree with you on the peas, but other than that, I try to avoid non-fresh vegetables.

Frozen. Canned vegetables tend to be cooked, or if they're raw, reduced to mush.

Fresh is always preferred, but I keep frozen on hand for convenience.

Frozen bagged veggies are reseable so I don't need to eat 16 oz with one meal.

Frozen => bowl => microwave => dinner table => get in mah belly!

canned veggies are stripped of vitamins. If you can't do fresh, go frozen

avoid canned veggies/fruit at all costs.

Frozen tends to have more nutrients than fresh that have been sitting out, so frozen.

Canned cooks out the vitamins & flavor.

Then they have to add in extras into the fluids inside thec an.

Frozen keeps everything as pure as possible. - Maybe a quick blanche but that it all.

Are you insane? What kind of question is this? Nobody in their right mind would choose canned veggies...

Well unless its like stewed tomatoes, or olives, or artichoke hearts... :p

And they actually have more intact nutritional content than what is presented to you as "fresh" in the store.

Oh, I should admit that I only use canned tomatoes for pasta sauce. Whole peeled--can't really trust any other kind. However, I do use the "Polpa" cans as well (like crushed, saucy).... call me fancy pants for making sauces with $3.50 cans, but there really is no other way. if you're using tomato paste then you're failing.

this and this are the only acceptable tomatoes for a superior sauce, IMO.

We buy the microwaveable frozen steam bags of veggies which are actually pretty damn good. That's probably the only thing that I actually like coming out of a microwave.

unpossible

Fresh is fresh. If its in the fresh section and it isn't fresh, then its rotten, not fresh. True fresh always > frozen.

Uncorrect. Studies have proven otherwise.

Tomatoes and beans are better canned just because they're used in soups and sauces.

Part of the canning process cooks the vegetables. When you freeze vegetables you don't really cook them...they're just blanched. This does take some nutrients out of them, but it's definitely better than the canning process.
