I've been a vegetarian off and on for three years, and finally made it official almost a year ago...

Now I just go sick for the first time. It's just a cold, but I WANT CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP!!! As that's what I've always had when sick.

Anyone have any suggestions of NON meat products that might satisfy the same craving???

Thanks!

Chicken broth? Would that be acceptable?
There's also vegetable broth.
Any soup will do you good. It doesn't have to be chicken noodle.

Any non-meat soup will help. I would suggest just chicken broth but I'm not sure if that counts or not.
You might also try herbal tea. It tastes nasty but helps a lot.

Try tomato soup and some rest. Stay away from medication unless it is prescribed.

lol "chicken" ramen soup is nothing but MSG and Water, surely you don't want to take that while sick.

kumanchu: I was just going to suggest lentil soup. As a matter of fact, I just had a big bowl of Progresso Lentil. It's very good for canned soup! :)
