Anyone have a good site that lists Vegas codes and discounts that allows you to do a quick comparison? I'm going through one by one through one of those promotional page with discount codes but it's tedious to compare this way. Any good sites out there?

I did my tix and hotel seperate. I found a crazy low airfare and the Harrahs hotel I am booking with had a special. Kayak.com is a great place to look.

My buddy is getting married over the summer and we are planning a June Trip. Would be great to get some advice/suggestions as well.

Thanks all.

The aggregator sites are great, but sometimes those promotional codes just can't be beat. Slickdeals' LV thread always has a ton of information, and that's what I used to book my hotel when I went a few months ago.

I thumbed through one of those books in the back seats of arilines. US Airways is offering round trip tickets and two nights accommodations for about $310 flying out of Boston. Locations closer to Vegas were under $200. I think places really close like California were $100! I thought that was a pretty good deal. They didn't say where the hotel was though. If you go, I always figure what is the point if you aren't on the strip.

just returned thursday from vegas... stayed at monte carlo for 47/night for 2 nights, with 2 free buffets and 50 bucks in promo chips...

also regularly get comps for free stays at sahara, binions, and mirage (going back to stay 3 free nights in november at mirage, yay)

gotta love players club comps :)

(although overall they got the best of me ;) )

I forgot. The one thing holding me back is the fact taht if I were to go, I'd want to see 1 or 2 shows. At $70/seat (guessing) times two people, that is another $280 that has to be spent. It quickly goes over $1,000 for 2 days which is $500/day. Hard to justify in my mind. I already have the $300 weekend planned for $150/day. Much more economical and for that, I can even bring the kids along!

I might do Vegas in about 3 years when my kids are older and we are dual income (probably in the $130K/year ballpark combined).

Hit up the search engine - there is a Vegas thread started every 3-4 months.

FOUND IT (from my previous post):

Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino | Air & 2 nights in Las Vegas from $129*
(from Boston was about $310 if memory serves correct)
http://www.usairwaysvacations....llywood.html?c=0546_hd

Anyone know if Planet Hollywood is on the strip?

UPDATE:
It is on the strip (map near bottom):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Vegas_Strip

It is not actually on the strip, but about 2 blocks off to the East

Planet Hollywood is on the strip wtf are you talking about. It used to be called Aladdin. it is across from bellagio and between bally's and mgm (?).

I'm headed there June 7-12 for the VSLive conference. We're staying at the Venetian for $99/night. My flight was around $300 out of MS.

Where can find good deals on shows etc? My wife is going with me and she will want to go to some.

qft, imo PH is one of the best locations. across the street from bellagio, and can walk to north strip (venetian, wynn, mirage) or south strip (mgm, luxor, mandalay).
