Going to Las Vegas with my lady friend on July 5th - 8th. Any shows or anything else we should really go see? I've been to Vegas once for a double bachelor party about 4 years ago and all we did was drink and gamble.

obligatory sand to the beach comment

Things that will probably be done: (to be continued)
Mandalay Bay Shark Reef
Blue Man Group
Harley Cafe
Bellagio Fountains
Miracle Mile
Minus 5 Ice Lounge
BB King's Blues Club
Stratosphere Tower at night
something Cirque du Soleil
Lotus of Siam --- Lady says she loves Thai food

Do not spend the entire trip in a single casino gambling. Whatever you do, go out and do things, see shows, etc. You can sit around at home and drink any time.

Stay out of Hamada's. Our hotel thing said it was a highly rated place and it was overpriced shit.

We saw O when we were there, it's good. There are some other Cirque shows there too, try and catch one.

Olive's was tasty and sort of pricey, but not so bad if you ate from the fixed price dinner menu.

The flock of Flamingos at The Flamingo and the koi/some other fish ponds were neat.

I think Tiesto might be in town, check it out.

"Love" at Mirage. I've heard of people who weren't even Beatles fans enjoying it and some even checking out their music after seeing it.

World's most expensive buffet is at Bally's on Sunday morning. Try it. It's called the Sterling Brunch.

^2. I've seen virtually all the major Vegas shows, and Love is my favorite. Mystere would be next. I saw Jersey Boys earlier this year... it was really great if you are in the mood for a more traditional Broadway show.

Samba at the Mirage is a great restaurant if you are in the mood for an all-the-meat-you-can-eat orgy.

Isla at TI is the best Mexican restaurant in the universe.

"O" is a very good show.

The Gun Store is fun if you like to shoot.

I had a great steak at "Switch" in the Wynn Encore two weeks ago, and the room is kind of fun, as the lights, ceiling and walls change every 20 - 30 minutes.

For me, sitting by the pool and having the pretty girls bring me drinks always makes me smile ;)

I had a good time at the RIO one evening, caught Penn and Teller (good, not great show), and had their awesome seafood buffet

go on the the roof top of caesar and create your own wolfpack and down some roofies.

If your lady friend like clubbing, take her to the club at the wynn called xs. Best club with beautiful women.

The #1 thing to add to your list of "Things to be done":
STAY INDOORS. July is the hottest month in Nevada. It will probably be 187* in Vegas by then. If you're really unlucky you'll get a summer thunderstorm which brings flooding and 100% relative humidity so that it feels like 214*.

that why you go to the club like XS where there is a huge swimming pool outside the club, and chicks will be in their bikini at night as well.
