Vegas or Europe?

I don't understand the lure of Vegas.
Wouldn't it be more fun to hit the South of France or Swiss Alps?

vegas is fun for two - three days max and then it gets old.....Europe is just great.

vegas is a wannabe europe (bellagio/venetian/paris.paris)

If you want any semblance of culture, go to Europe.

If you want to see lots of fun shows, gamble, and people watch, come here. (vegas)

Europe is a vacation, vegas is a short trip for some fun.

I'd still love to go to vegas though for defcon next weekend....

I've never been to Europe and I've only been to Vegas one time and I'm not a gambler, but I'll have to say the thing that impressed me the most about Vegas the most was the entire town's desire to make my time there as enjoyable as possible.

It seemed as if no one was having a bad day. Whether it was the maid for your room or the cashier at a party store everyone was as friendly and as helpful as possible.
