Vegas: How's FOX car rental?

since they are off terminal, i dont get hit with 'in terminal' surcharges.

one week economy rental at Fox is $184 including all taxes.

Next cheapest is Payless (in terminal) for $205 for the same size car.

Pros/cons of using Fox car rental in Vegas?

I used FOX in LA before, the line was kind of slow but no complaints really.

Vegas reates depend on the season and convention status.

Also, look at Thrifty and Enterprise.
Thrifty for me there has ranged from $10/day to $30/day.

Best thing is to use an airport car rental chart - they are usually fairly accurate.

You can not pick up any rental at the airport itself - Fox will pick you up from the rantal area. Take the bus (free) and then find a Fox shuttle.

find an airport shuttle, then find a fox shuttle to get to Fox? no direct fox shuttle at airport?

Lots of the larger hotels have the same rental agencies the airport does, and without the surcharge. Added bonus is they have their own shuttles that will pick you up, and drop you off, at the airport.

Call your hotel to see if they offer the service.
