Vega bios locked forever ?

Do any of you think we'll ever be able to flash our own custom firmware ?
maybe some way of disabling this hardware security check on boot (cut traces on the pcb...) ?

Any Ideas welcome.
This is frustrating and this vegafe is proving to be the worst video card purchase I ever made because of this single issue.

I'm just wondering if people think it is technically possible to bypass/disable the "Secure Processor" on these gpu's.
Or if having increasingly locked down hardware is going to be our future.

Because there is no way to control voltage/clocks in linux yet

I'm a little surprised no one has ported Wattman over to Linux. It's not that big of an app. Can't AMD open source that thing?

Also, does the Linux version of the Vega FE drivers support driver switching? I would think that feature would work a lot better under Linux than Win10.
