vdimm voltage fluctuation--how serious is this?

i have a Kt266 epox mobo, amd 2400 chip, 1 gb cheap ram, couple hard drives, dvd drives, tv tuner card, modem and old sound card. cheap arse power supply.

i have a utility called USDM that monitors temp and voltages. every day (usually a cpl times per day actually) i get the error msg:
"The 2.704 V power line was out of tolerance."

i'm assuming its talking about Vdimm, voltage to memory. would a better power supply fix this? i used to o/c both cpu/system and my gfx card and was getting random reboots. i reset to default settings and the reboots subsided but now i get the err msg.

i'm in the process of building a new puter, prob a amd 939 and nv4 ultra chipset, but this computer will be 'promoted' to my server so i'm hoping to eliminate any goofy variances.
